Registered Nurse - patient education (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Fern Care Services and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
