Registered Nurse - patient education (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Beacon Learning Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
