Registered Nurse - patient education (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Iron Learning Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
