Registered Nurse - patient education (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight North Learning Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 485 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on student accounts with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
