Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around San Diego. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on route schedules with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
