Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Fern Hospitality and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on food costs with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with food costs. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
