Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

Westbrook Pike Medical designs and makes medical devices in San Diego, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Support work on device records with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
