Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Oak Care Services provides in-home and community support in San Diego. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on visit scheduling with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
