Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove West Care Services and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on client records with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with client records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
