Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Fern Hospitality is a hospitality company in San Diego with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on guest bookings with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with guest bookings. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
