Registered Nurse - patient education (San Diego, CA)

Rivermark Pike Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in San Diego, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on customer complaints with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
