Registered Nurse - patient education (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Loom Early Learning Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
