Registered Nurse - patient education (San Antonio, TX)

Harborlight Cobalt Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around San Antonio, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
