Registered Nurse - patient education (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Fox Early Learning and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 979 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on tuition and subsidies with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
