Registered Nurse - patient education (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Union Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Sacramento. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on insurance authorisations with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
