Registered Nurse - patient education (Rochester, NY)

Lumen Harbor Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Rochester design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on route schedules with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
