Registered Nurse - patient education (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Timber Early Learning runs childcare centres in Richmond caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 680 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on meal programmes with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with meal programmes. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
