Registered Nurse - patient education (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Timber Learning Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on learning materials with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
