Registered Nurse - patient education (Reno, NV)

Northwind Glen Health Partners is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on electronic records with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
