Registered Nurse - patient education (Reno, NV)

Redstone Umber Hospitality is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for group events, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on group events with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
