Registered Nurse - patient education (remote)

Bluepeak Iron Learning Group Partners operates schools and learning programmes around New Orleans. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 57 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
