Registered Nurse - patient education (remote)

Fernwood Lantern Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in San Diego, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
