Registered Nurse - patient education (remote)

Fernwood Summit Insurance is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on policy renewals with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
