Registered Nurse - patient education (remote)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Detroit working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Support work on route schedules with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
