Registered Nurse - patient education (Providence, RI)

Lumen Harbor Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Providence. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on ridership counts with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
