Registered Nurse - patient education (Providence, RI)

Amberfield Timber Medical Partners is a Providence company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on training materials with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
