Registered Nurse - patient education (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Timber Early Learning and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on meal programmes with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with meal programmes. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
