Registered Nurse - patient education (Portland, OR)

Clearpath Ashton Health Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 760 people based in Portland. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on referrals with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
