Registered Nurse - patient education (Portland, OR)

Cedar Lantern Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Portland. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on release testing with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
