Registered Nurse - patient education (Portland, OR)

Nova Rowan Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Portland, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on group events with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
