Registered Nurse - patient education (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Pittsburgh serving students and families, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on learning materials with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
