Registered Nurse - patient education (Pittsburgh, PA)

Northwind Juniper Health Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on insurance authorisations with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
