Registered Nurse - patient education (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Willow Learning Group Partners and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on learning materials with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
