Registered Nurse - patient education (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Nest Early Learning runs childcare centres in Pittsburgh caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Support work on classroom supplies with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
