Registered Nurse - patient education (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Thistle Learning Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
