Registered Nurse - patient education (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Haven Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Oakland. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on family communication with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
