Registered Nurse - patient education (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone West Transit Planning and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on accessibility audits with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
