Registered Nurse - patient education (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Thistle Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Oakland, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on enrolment with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
