Registered Nurse - patient education (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield North Insurance and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on claims with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
