Registered Nurse - patient education (New Orleans, LA)

Redstone Summit Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around New Orleans. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
