Registered Nurse - patient education (Minneapolis, MN)

Summit Vista Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Minneapolis. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on underwriting files with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
