Registered Nurse - patient education (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Linden Health runs clinics and patient services around Milwaukee. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 862 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on patient scheduling with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
