Registered Nurse - patient education (Milwaukee, WI)

Rivermark Kestrel Learning Group is an education provider in Milwaukee serving students and families. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. Families are partners. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
