Registered Nurse - patient education (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Cedar Care Services supports families and individuals in Milwaukee with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to take on patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on client records with clinical expertise. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
