Registered Nurse - patient education (Knoxville, TN)

Redstone Union Health Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Support work on electronic records with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
