Registered Nurse - patient education (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Summit West Care Services Group and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support work on caregiver training with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
