Registered Nurse - patient education (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Forge Care Services Associates and adding a Registered Nurse whose main responsibility will be patient education. You would join a large organisation of about 785 people based in Houston. What you will do • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Support work on caregiver training with clinical expertise. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Two or more years of clinical experience. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
