Registered Nurse - patient education (Houston, TX)

Clearpath North Learning Group is looking for a Registered Nurse. The job centres on patient education for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Support work on school calendars with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. • Active state RN licence. Nice to have • BLS/ACLS certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
