Registered Nurse - patient education (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Juniper Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Houston, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Houston. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Support work on electronic records with clinical expertise. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Active state RN licence. • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
