Registered Nurse - patient education (Honolulu, HI)

Greenridge Hollow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Honolulu, and we need a Registered Nurse to lead our patient education. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow infection-control and documentation standards. • Support work on route schedules with clinical expertise. • Assess patients, record findings and carry out care plans. • Educate patients and families in plain language. • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists and social workers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of clinical experience. • Active state RN licence. • Kind, steady and clear when explaining care. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • BLS/ACLS certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
